Call for Artist Residencies 2026

Fondazione MUS.E, in collaboration with the Cultural Department of the Municipality of Florence, is pleased to announce this call for applications for the allocation of studio spaces for artist residencies at MAD Murate Art District, taking place from 27 January to 27 February 2026. The call is open to artists and/or artist collectives working in the field of contemporary art.

The initiative is part of the Sharing Visions Project, with the contribution of Fondazione CR Firenze and the support of the Region of Tuscany within the framework of Toscanaincontemporanea2025. Its aim is to support artistic development by providing performative studio spaces or artists’ studios at MAD Murate Art District.

In order to support the selected residencies, MAD may grant a financial contribution of up to €1,500, intended to support the production of a single project or to be divided among several projects of equal merit, at the discretion of the Selection Committee.

Applications must be submitted by 7 January 2026 in order to be considered for access to the artist studios at MAD Murate Art District, where selected participants will be able to work and produce their projects.
