After graduating from high school, completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter, then studied architecture at the University of Applied Arts/Vienna, master class with Prof. Johannes Spalt and master class with Prof. Wolf D. Prix (Coop Himmelb(l)au)

1999: foundation of gaupenraub +/- together with Ulrike Schartner
2000-2008 and 2013-2017: lectureships at the Vienna University of Technology
2008-2009: university assistant at the Vienna University of Technology
since 2010: guest critiques, workshops and external teaching assignments at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, TU Vienna, TU Graz, Art University Linz, NDU St. Pölten, among others
